Under 18 EJA Added to Squads For 2024/25

Chair and Owner, Richard Maxwell, has been outlining his comprehensive and ambitious plan for player development in recent months since his takeover in early May 2023. Establishing a Centre for professional development with quality facilities and staff is a significant step towards nurturing talent and creating a conductive environment for player growth. 

The first team competing in the Spartan South Midland Division One, and U23 in the United Counties Reserve League, reintroducing the U18 into the Thurlow Nunn Youth League and today announcing another U18 squad to compete in the Eastern Junior Alliance (EJA). 

We are now competing in every age group category in the EJA, with a full pathway from U13 through to U18, plus additional U12 feeder team. 

The Hunters Stadium is being lined up to become a venue for professional development with excellent facilities available. Having three adult pitches fully floodlit with the latest LED floodlights, The Hunters Stadium allowing the club to expand, deliver and showcase training and match days. With the recent introduction of Matt Mee and Si Coxall, the club will be announcing the names of more Managers & Coaches for the 2024/25 season. 

With so much coming into fruition, with proposals being outlined for even further scope for improvement and development, we will be proudly showcasing all our achievements on our social media channels and here on our website. 

Huntingdon Town Football Club has a wealth of volunteers and supporters that are enabling us host, plan, and development the infrastructure of a club with a modern and encapsulating vision on player development in an environment to be proud of. We thank all of those involved for their commitment and hard work.
