You can hear before you see him…!!! So it will come as no surprise that Matt has been announced as the 2024/25 Under 23 Manager that will compete in the United Counties Reserve League.
Having spent 18 years at Girton United, Matt has gone on to coach and manage at several clubs whilst also obtaining his UEFA B License in 2018. Matt will assist Simon with the Under 18, 2024/25 squad.
Matt commented “The under 23 squad is going to be a challenge for the players as our main objective will be to progress from the U/18 and promote to the first team. It’s going to be exciting coaching at Huntingdon Town. Richard Maxwell (Owner/Chair) has a realistic vision for the club, it’s all about the player. We are building the foundations off the field, with new floodlights, improved pitches, and with something else in the pipeline, the club really wants to progress and develop young exciting footballers in an environment you will want to be part of.”
