Huntingdon Town U18s Girls

Girls football built on fun, friendship and togetherness

Huntingdon Town U18s Girls offers players the opportunity to enjoy football, stay active, build friendships, and be part of a positive and supportive team environment.

At this stage of the game, keeping girls involved in football matters. We want players to enjoy coming to training and matches, feel part of a team, and continue playing in an environment where they feel welcome, supported, and valued.

This is a team built around togetherness, enjoyment, activity, and the chance to keep playing the game with friends.

Playing in the Cambridgeshire Women’s & Girls’ U18s League

Our U18s Girls compete in the Cambridgeshire Women’s & Girls’ U18s League, giving players the opportunity to enjoy regular football in a structured and competitive grassroots environment. The current live page already references the Girls U18s and that league setting.

The focus is on helping players enjoy the game, stay involved, and continue developing through regular training and matchdays.

A team built on friendship and support

We believe girls’ football should be about more than just results.

Our U18s Girls environment is built around:

  • friendship
  • enjoyment
  • support
  • activity
  • confidence
  • team spirit

We want every player to feel comfortable, included, and proud to be part of the team.

Staying in the game

One of the most important things in girls football is creating the right environment for players to keep playing as they get older.

Huntingdon Town U18s Girls gives players the chance to continue enjoying football with their friends, remain active, and stay part of the game in a positive club environment.

This is about keeping girls involved, giving them a team they enjoy being part of, and making football something they want to continue with.

Confidence, wellbeing and activity

Football can give players so much more than just matchdays.

Being part of Huntingdon Town U18s Girls helps players to:

  • stay active and healthy
  • build confidence
  • enjoy being part of a team
  • make friendships
  • develop independence and responsibility
  • have fun through sport

We want football to be a place where girls feel good about themselves and enjoy being active every week.

Part of a growing girls and women’s pathway

Our U18s Girls team is an important part of the wider female pathway at Huntingdon Town.

It helps provide a bridge between youth football and the women’s side of the club, supporting the long-term development of girls and women’s football at Huntingdon Town.

That means this team is not only about the present season, but also about helping players stay connected to the game and to the Club as they get older.

A welcoming club environment

At Huntingdon Town, we are proud to offer a positive and supportive setting for girls to play football.

We want players and families to feel part of a club that values:
