The Huntingdon Town Under 16 Girls team has had an exceptional 2023/24 season competing in the Alan Boswell Group Cambridgeshire Girls and Women’s Football League. This dynamic squad has showcased their talent, teamwork, and determination, making their community proud.
Throughout the season, the Under 16 Girls demonstrated remarkable skill and sportsmanship. They secured numerous victories, displaying their prowess on the field and solidifying their reputation as a formidable team in the league.
The team’s success was fueled by the exceptional performances of its top scorers. Forward Isla led the way with 33 goals in 18 appearances, followed by Alicia, Molly, Isabel and Kaliya. Their contributions were crucial in many of the team’s victories.
Beyond their on-field achievements, the Under 16 Girls team has exemplified the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork. Their dedication to training, coupled with the guidance of their coaching staff, has resulted in significant development both individually and collectively.
Coach, Paul Vincent shared his thoughts on the team’s performance: “I’m incredibly proud of what the girls have achieved this season. Their hard work and commitment have paid off, and they’ve grown tremendously as players and as a team. We’re excited to build on this success in the coming seasons.”

TRAINING
The team trains on Wednesdays 6-7pm at Jubilee Park in Huntingdon and plays matches on Saturday mornings in the Cambridgeshire Girls and Women’s Football League.
