Volunteer Day Part 2: A Resounding Success!
On Sunday, June 2nd, our dedicated community came together once again for Volunteer Day Part 2, making significant strides in enhancing our facilities. This event was a testament to the power of collaboration and the incredible impact of volunteer efforts. Here’s a recap of the amazing progress made:
PA System Upgrade: A New Era of Sound
Thanks to the hard work of our volunteers, we now have a state-of-the-art PA system with two new speakers, bringing our total to six. This upgrade means our stadium now boasts a six-speaker surround sound system, ensuring crystal-clear announcements and an immersive music experience for everyone in attendance. Whether it’s game day or a community event, our enhanced sound system will elevate the atmosphere, making every moment memorable.
Garage Overhaul: Ready for the New Season
One of the major projects tackled was the clearing and restocking of our garage. Our volunteers worked tirelessly to organise and prepare it for the upcoming season. The garage is now fully stocked with essential equipment including pug goals, mannequins, poles, cones, balls, and bibs. This thorough preparation ensures that our Junior Teams and Coaches will have everything they need to kick off the season smoothly. We’re excited to see our young athletes in action, honing their skills with the best gear available.
Strength & Conditioning Room: A Space for Excellence
Another highlight of the day was the completion of our Strength & Conditioning room. This dedicated space is now fully equipped to support the physical development of our players. With top-notch facilities, our teams can focus on building strength, improving conditioning, and achieving peak performance. This room is a valuable addition that will undoubtedly contribute to the overall fitness and success of our players.
